Lesson 313: What is the Last Judgement?” “Now let a new perception come to me.”

This lesson say, “Now let His true perception come to me, that I may waken from the dream of sin and look within upon my sinlessness, which You have kept completely undefiled upon the altar to Your Holy Son, the Self with which I would identify.” 

The Course reminds us that God is our number one Love and support. 

God loves us boundlessly, and God demonstrates this without hesitation, because God gives us plentiful favor.  This is undeniable.  

We later grasped we held the totally unsound interpretation of God.  

We thought God was out to get us, that God wants us to suffer. 

The ego’s version of God says that God wants to punish us, and therefore, this will definitely happen, because God is true to His Word because God is perfect. 

When we believe that God is our number one enemy, then it makes sense that we believe God is a villain at best.

We have had the faulty view of things.  God is perfect. 

God is therefore, trustworthy and absolutely wants for us to be well taken care of and happy. 

This is why God gives us the real deal finally in the Course’s message.  

God loves us, and specifically wants us to not block the flow to God’s Presence, with the guilt we feel when we believe we are sinful. 

God wants us to experience the best of the best.  This is why He is adamant about telling us the truth.

One thing that always blocks the flow to God’s Love as well is when we feel guilty for messing up. 

This amazing news about how much God loves us is a done deal and this is why we can be completely stoked about it. 

The problem is only that we don’t remember or believe this fact. 

But this means we can simply change our minds about this truth. 

We can realize this is true, and gently bring this news to seep into our consciousness over time.  This works, and just takes time.

We just need to bless the information and not resist it. 

We will really wrestle with it following the ego’s presumption. The ego will throw in our faces that this news about God’s Love for us is false.

We just need to be willing to show God all of those little parts of us that resist and complain. 

We just sit with God and show Him, and He removes any memory of difficulty with the simple kiss of His Love.  We just need to hang out with Him and trust that all is well.
