Lesson 318: “What is the Last Judgement?” “In me, salvation’s means and end are one.”
This lesson explains, “I am the means by which God’s Son is saved because salvation’s purpose is the find the sinlessness that God has placed in me.”
I love how the Course is always giving me and us an extra bit of clarity about how our innocence remains Supreme and intact because it is of God.
I love the simplicity in God’s wishes and Will for all of us; God wants us to accept what is already true.
We need to allow it to sink in because it is different than the ego’s typical banter about how guilty and flawed all of us are.
The Course is asking us to change our minds about ourselves and all others around us. The only real problem we have in the world is that we forget our worth, and therefore, our certainty.
We neglect to remind ourselves that all is well because our innocence is entirely intact. We need to accept this, and this is the only real need to dedicate effort while we live in our human experience.
The Course bares the Truth about us, primarily that we are delivered immediately and for all time because God guarantees our innocence.
The Course says we never have to do anything to exert effort in the process because God already accomplished it.
To me, this is thrilling news!! Our salvation was never taken away or lost in any way. therefore, our salvation is perfectly intact because, according to God, we are innocent.
We don’t have to do anything to guarantee this because God already achieved it, and since God is Supreme, God promises us, God will never change His Will. Thus, God assures us of our salvation from God.
I appreciate that we all participate in each other’s salvation.
The Course says that- ‘I am the means by which God’s Son is saved because salvation’s purpose is to find the sinlessness that God placed in me.’ I love that the Course says that we are all part of each other’s salvation.
God declares that I, with my innocence, end up being the means that all God’s Sons enjoy his safeguarding.
When I remember this, it is right about me as well; then, it is automatically valid about all of our other brothers and sisters. God protects our brothers and sisters because they are innocent, then I am protected as well.
We need to appreciate that our sinlessness is our salvation. God’s words of wisdom and Truth are so spectacular that the one unswerving trait and quality that God decreed for all of us protects us.
God shelters us automatically because God declares we are worthy. I love that our sinless nature is the exact thing that saves us all the time.
We need to get into the habit of accepting this because it is so foreign in the ego’s world, where God declares we are sinless. We need to keep allowing it to sink in whenever there is an opening within us willing to accept the Truth.
