Lesson 343: “What is a Miracle?” I am not asked to make a sacrifice to find the mercy and peace of God.”

“What is a Miracle,” says, “It merely looks on devastation and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. It undoes error but does not attempt to go beyond perception nor exceed the function of forgiveness. It stays within time limits. “

The miracle is simple! We can apply it whenever we encounter a call for Love.

Miracles heal all pain and discourse, so we need to bring them with us at each juncture, using them for everything because we want to heal and save the world.

So we need to remember to bring miracles with us so we will enjoy the world and feel peaceful when we encounter it because we do not struggle within.

The Course reminds us that forgiveness is something God gave us specifically so we can bring Love in the form of forgiveness to all of the world’s chains and heal the world.

The Course says after we forgive the world, the world will disappear. The miracle does not cure the world with attack energy.

The gift comes from God, and thus blessings contain the same internal substance of God, so the way benefits work is that they look at the world and allow it to disappear because we have no resistance when we remember to bring God’s Love to the world, so it gets healed.

The ego consists of Attack energy, and there is no attack energy in anything that God gives us, so we can remember that the miracle states that the most helpful thing we can do is look at the world and allow it to disappear.
