Lesson 171: Review: “God is but Love, and therefore so am I.” “All things are echoes of the Voice for God.” “The power of decision is my own.”
We are asked to understand that God can be everywhere and is everywhere. When we live in the world, we can see that God is not a part of it. We are taught that the world is unreal and therefore, God is no part of it. However, with that said, God is also anywhere where we are. Because, God loves us so much He would never leave us stranded in the crazy world with no comfort. Then we must hold that God is not the usual part of the world.
But God cares that we are held and cared for. That’s why we need to forgive the world. While we are in the world, we may frequently find that we think it is entirely insane. It may seem like just completely off the wall. We may wonder what in the world we are doing there. We may have moments when the world seems so completely foreign to our true nature which is perfect and complete love.
However, the world is a place we can forgive. We need to give ourselves the time and space of forgiving the world. We have to see the importance of doing this and then do it without fail. Forgiveness is the only way to peace while we are in the world. Doesn’t matter what it looks like, it still deserves forgiveness.
This is the way we can extend our love to everything in the world. We may have all kinds of stuff in the world that is terrible to the core. We may firmly assert that we can’t love anything there. This is why we have to forgive. This is the way to end our suffering, to end the questioning about how we will ever make it to loving the world.
Then everything in the world becomes an echo of God’s Voice because we are no longer attacking what we see in the world as we withhold forgiveness. We must get out of our attack cycle and then we will find peace there amidst the masses. Reality in the world then becomes a happy dream of joyful frolicking because everything is simply God manifested in the world. Then we stop being judgmental and angry at everything we think is not God. We can apply God energy to everything and then transform it into the essence of God.
