Lesson 58: Review: “My holiness envelops everything I see.” “My holiness blesses the world.” “There is nothing my holiness cannot do.” “My holiness is my salvation.” “I am blessed as a Son of God.”
My holiness means I am forever innocent. We always have something to feel good about, we have the best base level of our selves. Our holiness means we are indescribably perfect and adequate beyond our dreams. We are based on God’s holiness. The reason we can count on our holiness remaining constant is because it is God’s. No matter what the ego seems to tell us, the ego is always under attack and so impermanent.
We can’t count on any image of ourselves to last because the ego can’t carry on indefinitely. God, on the other hand, is perfectly consistent because God has no flaws or weaknesses of any sort. Therefore, we can be certain that God’s nature,holiness, will continue on unaffected. Our holiness exists because we are in fact perfectly innocent, just like a child. The innocence means everything is new and fresh and infinitely powerful in terms of making any change in our hearts or in our worlds.
This is why we can always be happy to the nth degree. We are worthy of all good things because we are holy as God. Therefore, we can live powerfully in our certain mind that we can change anything that needs undoing. Our power is because of this holiness. The holiness is simply a reflection of God’s power.
This lesson says, “From my holiness does the perception of the real world come.” This reminds us that our holiness is the thing about us that purifies us. Through our holiness we become the great bringers of light in the world. We all are asked to keep this clearly in our vision. When we allow our minds and hearts to be none other than holy, the world becomes a vision transformed. The struggle in the world ceases to be when we face the world’s picture with our innocent projection of ourselves. Then the world can be a gift to all who dwell there because we see only a place of healed hearts.
