Laurie’s Positive Points: Proactive Peace

We just need occasional reminders. 

We are given tools that are so profound and magnificent that they do all the work for us. 

We don’t have to exert effort or do anything complicated. 

We don’t have to go out of our ways to do anything that is not fun and sweet. 

We have the permission to move forward from God when we are ready and able, we just need to listen.

We just need to be open to listening to God’s message and God’s little Voice in our ear. 

We forget to notice but the reality is that it is easy to do when we simply allow our focus- to be full on in the situation.

We have discovered from trial and error that there is another way from the one we have used in the past that led us right to the extremes of the nightmare. 

It is a slippery slope and the ego loves to just get messy, and get lost and stuck.  But the reality is that there is another way. 

We just have to be open to discovering this path. 

It is is as easy as it can be because it is hand-tailored by the Holy Spirit to miraculously fit us and our paths perfectly. 

We just have to be willing to listen to it. 

The trial and error method of gathering information for us about where we ideally want to go, has simply led us to more suffering, and so we are eager to stop and pause, when that suffering escalates to such high intensity is is unbearable.

We are used to accepting getting derailed because it seems inevitable, but we can- when we want to- just shift that moment of thought energy we put toward propelling us forward. 

We just need to be clear within that are not open to accepting the misery at hand for an instant. 

We can just be willing to choose again, and get to a different solution at last.  This is easy and fun when we let it be.

We need to behave in the world with an attitude of respect. 

We allow everything to happen without judgment, and simply give the world the space it needs to be in motion, and not try to get in the way. 

God is here to show us how we can step back from our expectation and the ego’s old tune about demand.  We surrender that old memory of control and simply let it go. 

We have another option immediately.  

We just need to interact in the world with a light hand, we act with a kindness and compassion, while we also remember our own self respect, and our certainty of God, that we can do all things with the experience of love. 

Nothing is outside of God.  We can think the world is crazy and that it has no part of God, but we can laugh about this instead, and give our own personal easiness about it, while God gives His.
