Lesson 271: “What is the Christ?”  “Christ is the vision I will use today.” 

This lesson says, “His kindly sight redeems the world from death, for nothing that He looks upon must but live, remembering the Father and the Son; Creator and creation unified.” 

The Course reminds us that God is always caring for us in the deepest way. 

God gives us the reality where death disappears.

God simply looks on us all with His simple wish and intention and blesses us infinitely. 

He wants for us to not have the ego’s insane and overwhelming fear of death. 

We suffer so much when we are always at death’s door in one way or another.

This is why the Course gives us the reassurance and knowledge that we can rest in our certainty that God is going to take care of us into infinity. 

We don’t have to spend a moment with all those fears about death running about our minds.

Fear is the opposite of love and fear grips us in a terrible pinch because it is always giving us reason to further exponentially increase our ill feelings.

God reminds us, in the Course, that He is infinitely powerful and when he simply looks our way, He totally erases any concept of death because it is not an idea and energy within God. 

This is why it is so easy to undo.  

God just has to be Himself and then death disappears completely. 

We can trust that God loves us so much.

He has not ever a second of not loving us completely and not a second of lack of compassion for us, and so we can trust that God is always going to act in ways that benefit us in the long term and short term. 

We just need to trust this.
