Lesson 348: “What is a Miracle?”  “I have no cause for anger or for fear, for You surround me.  And in every need that I perceive, Your grace suffices me.”

The Course ask us to reclaim our certainty- God’s certainty.

God gives us every reason to be certain.  God tells us we are loved and worthy of the maximum abundance in our worldly existence.  We need to simply come back to this reminder.

We want certainty to grow and the way to do that is to continue to practice it until it feels like a second skin.

The certainty is so powerful that it actually allows us to feel perfectly safe within it. 

It is such a resilient and formidable energy that it creates for us an energetic bubble.  We can sit in our certainty and ward off people’s criticisms and woes of the world that consume our time and energy.  God’s certainty is all we need to take care of ourselves in truth.

It is the spiritual food that allows us to feel calm and safe. 

Also, it allows us to make decisions about how to take care of any situation that needs our focus to shift ourselves into a healed resolution about it. 

God gives us all the strength we need in the certainty.

We feel great and therefore, we are less prone to act out or send out attack thoughts in situations where we feel violated. 

God’s certainty is an incredibly potent feeling that all is well-so we don’t try to resist what is happening in the moment. 

This is exactly what we need to successfully and gracefully face what we see before us.

This is why the certainty always works because when we are not resisting the moment, it is because we are not feeling fearful or angry about whatever attack we perceived outside of us.

This means we don’t need to counter any attack we perceive with an attack back. 

Then we successfully get through the experience with no attack thoughts coming in or going out because we feel safe and supported and cared for simply in the certainty we feel.  The certainty is such a broad and remarkable feeling- that has multiple layers to heal whatever we are faced with.

God’s grace is exactly sufficient.  We have enough when we allow God to be our Source of whatever needs healing.

When we simply are gifted with the emotional state of our certainty, then we trust that everything will be taken care of because God Wills for us to be happy and loved. 

This makes us totally at ease because we can connect with and remember that our faith is not for naught.  When we just let God give us what we need, then we get taken care of in all ways that matter.  This gives us reason to not turn to fear or anger to get through a perceived attack because we have God on our side.
