Lesson 243:  “What is the World?”  “Today I will judge nothing that occurs.”

This lesson says, “When the thought of separation has been changed to one of true forgiveness, will the world be seen in quite another light; and one which leads to truth, where all the world must disappear and all its errors vanish.” 

God totally has a plan for us. 

We get this amazing fate of being transformed to Light, and gaining the good Will of God, as long as we choose it. 

We have an outdated version of the world most prominent in our thinking. 

We see a world where real stuff of woe happens consistently, because this is our perception, and we believe in it wholeheartedly, because it is the easy way for our egos.  

But the Course has a solution for us to heal that old belief in the misery of the world. 

All the mistakes that happen in the world simply disappear when we allow them to.  All of them! 

That means there is nothing so substantial in our error that God changes His mind about our lovability. 

We are innocent forever because God Wills it, and this is why we can just sit pretty, we sit in our certainty and we give the world and ourselves a break. 

We remember that our sinlessness is a done deal, so we can relax and play instead in engaging the nightmare.  

When we know wholeheartedly that we are innocent, we don’t feel guilty, and then do things to try to manage the guilt. 

We don’t have to because it is not there.  This is why we can just sit and not get upset about what we see in the world.  The Course givens us God’s version of healing the world. 

We just need to use forgiveness to give the world a break, and give the world a  moment of solace and peace. 

When we forgive the world, then we don’t get upset about the world in any way because there is no reason to get upset.  

Our egos have the false illusion that the world can never be healed because it is devoid from God, but the Course reminds us that when we forgive the world, then suddenly, we bring God to it, in the form that God can come to the world and correct it permanently. 

We want to remember God so brings His Love in the form of our forgiveness, because the world can understand forgiveness. 

This is why we can bring forgiveness to the masses.  It is the way we get home from the nightmare, and then, simply acknowledge that forgiveness is all we need to bring peace to the world and to ourselves.
