Lesson 209: Review: “I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.” “I feel the love of God within me now.”
What the Course teaches us to do is to revel in the radiance of God’s Love. When we have God’s Love within us, it radiates out to all people. This is the Source of Love from which we came and so we are exactly like God’s Love. This is the way we can live and extraordinary life when we simply live as a moment to moment expression of Love. Since Love is the substance and energy from which we were made, that means all we bring to the world is simply a showering of this amazing light called God’s Love.
This lesson says, “the Love of God within me sets me free.” This means we have all of our stresses and constraints completely undone. When we live our lives when we do it with God’s Love at our helm we necessarily will find the most comfort within. God doesn’t just make us happy but God sets us free. When our sense of love is waning we end up feeling angry because we simply are running low on love. This is when we must act to fill up the emptiness within with God’s Love or we will find ourselves imprisoned by the ego. The ego simply exists when we are living in scarcity.
When we feel the Love of God within us then everything is possible. We are not in a position of chains and bars within because our prison melts away with enough Love. Since God’s Love is always in abundant supply, we can be graced with a feeling of freedom from a sense of conflict and error.
