Lesson 174: God is but love, and therefore so am I: Into His Presence would I enter now. Today I learn to give as I receive.”

The introduction says, “Let our doubts be quiet, and our holy minds be still and speak to us.

The Course explains that God loves us as an ideal parent would. He goes out of His way to be good to us.

Our Creator loves us infinitely, so our Creator reminds us that we are sinless because God makes us with God’s energy, so we are blessed with God’s power of innocence because God wants the best for us.

After all, Our Creator is the ultra-perfect Loving parent. Hence, he always goes out of His way to give us everything.  

Because God Loves us so much means that we can do away with our doubts or worries that God will not follow through on His promise to all of us that God gifts us with abundant life, and we can trust that God in the form of the Holy Spirit will always be available to make sure we hear God’s direction in our minds within so this feels amazing, we need to take this in and see it as truth.

So doubts are only in the past as long as we realize that is where they are.

It says to let our holy minds be still and speak to us. I love the word sacred as described by the Course to illustrate all people, such as all our brothers and sisters, because we are all made of God’s Energy, so this is why we are innocent. No matter how many mistakes we make, our innocence is still intact.

zOur constant sacredness is exciting news that there is no reason to feel guilty because we are innocent. 

Remember to still our minds so we can be available to listen to God in the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Our egos constantly chatter up a storm in our minds and make hearing anything there challenging, so the Course explains how essential it is to empty our minds of the ego’s chatter so we can be available to listen to God.

Clearing our minds takes effort, but we can trust God’s assurance it will succeed when we watch, pay attention, and be there for the process.
