Lesson 310: “What is the Second Coming?” “In fearlessness and love I spend today.”
Fearlessness is our freedom.
Freedom comes from our emotional experience of being entirely without fear.
When we have no fear lingering then we have no outstanding anxiety and we feel peace. This is why we must pay close attention to remembering that we can be in this perfect state of peace if we simply welcome God’s Love.
God’s Love is perfect and therefore, when aligned with God, we can always be in the fearless state.
Our freedom comes from this liberating state of feeling no fear. We can sit and be very happy about this lifting of the heavy veil of fear.
God always gives us love that is filled with lightness and perfect gentleness and kindness.
There is no fear within it. This is why our minds get totally elevated from this lack of fear.
We can just sit and enjoy it and allow ourselves to be moved into this higher consciousness.
This lesson says, “This day will be Your sweet reminder to remember You, Your gracious calling to Your holy Son, the sign Your grace has come to me, and that it is Your Will I be set free today.”
Our freedom means we are free to not suffer over anything and everything.
This means we actually get to live the life of the happiest dream possible because we are free to do so. Our freedom means we get the best deal in the grand scheme of God’s Will and purpose.
Therefore, we can play and enjoy because we are not bound by this incredible pressure the ego regularly puts over us and insists we do things in any certain way.
The Course reminds us that God gives us the right to be free.
It is our destiny because God says so. This means we don’t have to do anything except enjoy the ride of the life we see before us, and direct when we need direction. But we do so with a grateful heart. When we realize we are free, we no longer have the stress of trying to live up to any ego judgements or should’s.
